We ran activities all week at St Pius to celebrate Harmony Week.
Everyone wore an orange accessory on Monday to mark the beginning of our celebrations and we decorated the Library with flags of the world...
Our large 'Peace Sign' required 'many hands' dipped in orange paint to create a symbol of our sense of belonging and inclusion. We ran craft sessions where students created 'Harmony Hands' to plant in the garden and 'Harmony Chatterboxes' to play with their friends.
We also learned how to play Carrom and Mancala - students familiar with the games teaching others the rules. They were hugely popular with all of our students!
The library also had a display of books showcasing the themes of inclusion and diversity.
A huge thank you to Ms Wallace & Ms Robinson for all their efforts (and talents) in coordinating and preparing these activities. Your enthusiasm and love for all things library is always appreciated!
